The luxury hotel named Palacio Nazarenas in Cuzco, Peru has officially opened. Transforming the former 16th century Carmelite convent into a 55-suite hotel was a long, four-year excavation project during which architects and archeologists uncovered several Inca artifacts.

These relics have been preserved for later use in hotel’s historical exhibition and talks of the area including Cuzco which is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This former palace and convent has emerged from years of restoration inorder to become one of the city’s most exclusive Boutique hotels.
