Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel, the Ferre.

After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal for the luxury bus to Pisco, some three hours south of Lima. Transfer to your hotel, the Bahia Paracas.

Transfer to Paracas for the boat to the Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas islands. Commonly referred to as the "little Galapagos", here you will see an amazing concentration of sea birds and sea lions in their natural habitat. Visit to Paracas, the only coastal National Reserve in Peru. Lunch. In the evening, luxury bus to Nazca. Arrival and transfer to your hotel, the Oro Viejo.

Flight over the Nazca Lines; gigantic drawings and geometrical figures, representing animals, such as a spider, a monkey and several birds, and once believed to be an enormous astronomical calendar. Visit to the Cantelloc aqueducts and the chance to relax by the pool before taking the luxury bus to Arequipa. Arrival late night and transfer to your hotel, the Tierra Sur.

Free morning. Afternoon city tour of the beautiful city of Arequipa, visiting the Chilina valley and the old San Lazaro district. A general view of the city is appreciated from the Yanahuara Belvedere, followed by a visit to the Plaza de Armas and its Cathedral, the cloisters of La Compañia Church, and the Church and Square of San Francisco. The extraordinary Santa Catalina convent which is built from volcanic lava and dates from the 16th century is also visited along with the best preserved mummy in South America, Juanita, stored at the university. Return to your hotel.

Departure from Arequipa, passing near the thermal baths of Yura and climbing up towards the National Reserve of Pampa de Cañahuas which is situated at 3,800m. Here groups of alpacas, vicuñas and sometimes guanacos can be seen. After driving several hours, the descent into the Colca Valley starts until we arrive at Chivay, the most important town of the valley. Accommodation at the fabulous Colca Lodge, set in the Colca Valley itself. With its very own hot springs, relax in the fabulous surroundings of the Canyon.

After breakfast, early departure to reach the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a few kilometers before Cabanaconde, where the Colca Canyon starts. Here you will see a fine view of the flight of the condors as well as of the depth of the mighty canyon. In the afternoon, return to Arequipa and transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal for the tourist bus to Puno. Arrival and transfer to your hotel, the Colon Inn.

After breakfast, a tour by boat to the island's of Uros and Taquile on Lake Titicaca. A tour of the reed islands of Uros before continuing to Taquile, where members of this self-supporting island will welcome you and offer a glimpse into their ancient traditions and customs. Lunch on the island and an opportunity for some spectacular views over the haunting beauty of Lake Titicaca. Night at one of the Islander's homes. Return to Puno and your hotel.

Early wake up to enjoy a spectacular sunrise over Lake Titicaca before heading back to Puno by boat. Accommodation at the hotel.

After breakfast, take the tourist bus to Cuzco. Visiting several archaeological sites along the way. Arrival to Cuzco and transfer to your hotel.

Today, a guided tour of Cuzco will include visits to the Main Cathedral, the Main Square, Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay and the Qoricancha temple. Overnight accommodation.

An early start by Expedition train to Aguas Calientes. Guided visit of the most spectacular ancient city in the world. This fabulous city contains houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square; and all connected by narrow roads and steps that are surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side. After the tour, free time to enjoy this spiritual wonder.

Overnight in Aguas calientes.

Opportunity to enjoy the market town of Aguas Calientes or return to Machu Picchu. (entrance tickets not included today).
In the afternoon by train to Cuzco and transfer to your hotel.
