Day 7. Bonaire (dinner)

Pick up at 09.00AM you will enjoy a morning walking tour of Kralendijk, the capital of Bonaire.
We will start at Fort Oranje on the coastal road, Kaya Charles E. B. Hellmund. This mini fortress isn't an impressive citadel but its bright color, tower, and location across from the cruise ship terminal make it a striking landmark. The Dutch built the structure in 1639 and it was used as the governor's mansion until the early 19th century. British troops periodically took control of the island during the Napoleonic Era, but the fort never saw action during the conflicts, and the cannons are actually from a British warship that ran aground on Bonaire's coast.
We will walk north along the waterfront until you come to Wilhelmina Plaza. A short distance north of Wilhelmina Plaza, the waterfront road becomes Kaya J.N.E. Craane and you'll find the recently-opened Terramar Mall and the Terramar Museum on your right. The museum is a must-see combination of Caribbean history and archaeology. The highlights include a 66 foot/20 meter-long timeline illustrated with drawings and photographs, as well as a short video that tells the story of how people moved about through the Caribbean islands over time.
TIME TO BE CONFIRMED - In the evening, you will enjoy a sun set dinner cruise.

The rough west side of Curaçao allows for the exploration of the wild nature of Curaçao. You will cross over the sandy plains of San Pedro where we take you to all the far corners of Bandabou. Enjoy walking through a hidden cave and watch the power of mother nature when you visit a beautiful Boca. Perhaps step in the crystal blue water of Daai Booi.

Enjoy lunch at Marfa's good hangout where you can enjoy the view out over the flamingo pond and the surrounding natural area. Return to your hotel.

Day 11. Curacao (lunch)

Pick up at 09.00AM. Explore the capital Willemstad on foot with your private guide. Stop at top landmarks such as Fort Nassau and the Curacao Liquor Factory. Learn about the island's culture, environment, and history through your guide's commentary. Check out Knip Beach and the Boka Tabla Cave at Shete Boca National Park. Lunch at the Governor's before returning to your hotel.

Day 12. Curacao

Pick up at 09.00AM.

Experience The Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge, famously known as the Swinging Old Lady and discover the rich history and beautiful colonial buildings at Punda, Pietermaai and Scharloo! Visit the Queen Juliana Bridge which is the highest bridge in the Caribbean and gets its name from the notable Netherlands Queen. Stop at Cathedral of thorns, where you walk through the maze, you'll experience what the artist describes as "a journey through a troublesome history toward a bright future." Each of these extremes are represented by the "hostile yet beautiful thorns." This unique piece of art is definitely a place worth visiting. Return to your hotel.
